The Vision of Escaflowne is a 1996 fantasy-mecha anime following Hitomi Kanzaki, a high school girl with psychic talents transported to the world of Gaea. She becomes involved in a war against the Zaibach Empire alongside King Van Fanel, piloting the mecha Escaflowne to save their world.
