1. Eligibility: The Contest is open to all residents of Ontario. Except employees (and those with whom such employees are domiciled) of Microplay Newmarket (the “Sponsor”), its affiliated companies or agents, advertising and promotion agencies. Participants must be 13 years or older to be eligible to participate. Please Note: Some prizes may require a Parent or legal guardian to be present with children under the age of 18 to claim, see above (listed prizes).

2. Contest Period: The Contest cards will be given out starting at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time (“EDT”) on Thursday, August, 1st, 2024. Until 6:00 p.m. EDT on Saturday, August 31st, 2024 (the “Contest Period”), or while supplies last, after which time the Contest Cards will no longer be given out.

3. How to Play: During the Contest Period, customers will receive a contest card with an eligible purchase of $30 or more while supplies last. Microplay Newmarket reserves the right to limit quantities per person, to allow for a fair allocation to all participants.

Scratch off the designated area on the card to reveal your prize. Prizes to be won are listed above.

Alternate No Purchase Method of Entry:
There is no purchase necessary to enter the Contest. To enter with out purchase, an alternate mail-in method of entry is also available. You may Mail in a request, if you want to collect a contest card without making an eligible purchase. As stated above; Microplay Newmarket reserves the right to limit quantities per person, to allow for a fair allocation to all participants. Please note this method is also only available while supplies last.

To use this method an eligible entrant may send a request in writing, including: (a) the entrant’s first name, last name, age, and valid email address; (b) a statement indicating they would like to receive a contest card (c) a fifty (50) word or more unique and original essay (for greater certainty, the entrant must personally complete the essay and must not copy their essay from any third party, or any part thereof, nor submit that same essay, or any part thereof, more than once) on the topic of What is your favourite memory of Microplay Newmarket?; on a plain white piece of paper by mailing the fully completed request (in an envelope with sufficient Canadian postage) to: Microplay Newmarket, 16700 Bayview Ave, Unit 31, Newmarket, Ontario, Canada.

Essays which are not unique and original or which do not reflect the essay theme above are void. To be eligible, Contest Card Requests must be postmarked by no later than the end of the Contest Period and received between August 1st, 2024 and September 9th, 2024. Limit of one (1) Contest Card Request per envelope with sufficient postage.

Upon receipt and review of a Contest Card Request, and while supplies last, in accordance with these Rules (as determined by the Sponsor in it's sole and absolute discretion), the applicable entrant that submitted such Contest Card Request will be contacted through the provided email address of approval, and provided further instructions on picking up a Contest Card in store specially set aside for the entrant. Proof of ID may be required upon pickup.

Microplay Newmarket is not responsible for late, lost, stolen, misdirected, delayed, incomplete, damaged, destroyed, or illegible Contest Card Requests.

4. Prizes: Prizes are as stated on the card. No cash alternative will be offered, and prizes are non-transferable. The prize value may vary, and no substitution or exchange will be permitted except at the discretion of Microplay Newmarket. Prizes available to be won are listed above.

5. Claiming Prizes: Participants must present the original scratch card in store to claim their prize. As stated above; some prizes may require a Parent or legal guardian to be present with children under the age of 18 to claim, see above (listed prizes). Prizes may be claimed starting at 10:00 a.m. EDT Sunday September 1st, 2024. All prizes must be claimed by 6:00 p.m. EDT Sunday December 15th, 2024. Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited. Prizes can be claimed in store at Microplay Newmarket, 16700 Bayview Ave, Unit 31, Newmarket, Ontario, Canada.

6. Liability: Microplay Newmarket is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, or illegible entries. Microplay Newmarket reserves the right to verify the identity and eligibility of winners before prize redemption.

7. Privacy: Any personal information provided by participants will be used solely for the purposes of this promotion and in accordance with Microplay Newmarket's privacy policy.

8. General Conditions: Microplay Newmarket reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the scratch and win promotion at any time without prior notice. By participating, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and the decisions of Microplay Newmarket, which are final and binding in all respects.

9. Governing Law: This promotion is governed by the laws of York Region. Any disputes arising from or relating to this promotion shall be resolved under the laws of York Region.
